BUILD.org Expands Entrepreneurial Curriculum for National Entrepreneurship Week 2026

Fambiz Expansion Pack:
Basics in Branding with Adobe

To mark National Entrepreneurship Week, BUILD.org announced the recent expansion of its nationally recognized entrepreneurship curriculum with new and updated digital learning experiences designed for middle and high school classrooms around the nation.

Earlier this month, BUILD launched Basics of Branding with Adobe, a new expansion to BUILD’s FamBiz CEO Simulation. Together, the two free experiences give educators flexible options to engage students in entrepreneurship education to learn real-world skills, whether through one or two lessons or a longer classroom unit.

National Entrepreneurship Week highlights the importance of entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership. BUILD’s expanded curriculum supports these goals by offering project-based learning experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.

The FamBiz CEO Simulation program places students in the role of entrepreneurs running a cookie company. Students make decisions that affect their business, team, and community while learning foundational concepts such as financial literacy, customer research, collaboration and ethical leadership.

The new Basics of Branding with Adobe: FamBiz Expansion Pack introduces students to branding and marketing as core components of entrepreneurship. Using Adobe Express, students create real-world assets such as logos, flyers, and social media graphics, helping them understand how ideas are communicated and how brands connect with audiences in today’s digital economy. This program builds on Adobe Digital Academy’s decade of success, as it evolves into creator-focused, classroom-based experiences.

“National Entrepreneurship Week is a powerful reminder that every young person has the potential to be the CEO of their own life. At BUILD, we help students see themselves not just as learners, but as creators, innovators, and problem-solvers with ideas that matter.

By expanding FamBiz with a branding-focused experience, we’re equipping educators and students nationwide with accessible tools that spark confidence, creativity, and real-world skills, preparing them for career success and a future they are ready to shape.”

– Thais Rezende, CEO of BUILD.org

The branding expansion integrates tools from Adobe Express and complements BUILD’s broader digital learning ecosystem. Both learning experiences are available at no cost and are designed to fit into courses such as business, career readiness, CTE, and digital literacy.

Fambiz and Basics of Branding with Adobe are BUILD’s newest free entrepreneurship curriculum from BUILD. These two lessons add to BUILD’s first free entrepreneurial curriculum, BUILD’s Design Challenge. This free, engaging 10-hour+ experience in human-centered design for your students that can be integrated in any or all classes. It takes students from the first stages of the design process, through prototyping and testing, and is used by many of our students as the basis of their own businesses.

BUILD.org has reached 350,000+ students nationwide with a focus on expanding access to entrepreneurship education for young people from under-resourced communities. Its digital curriculum continues to grow as part of the organization’s mission to prepare students to be the CEOs of their own lives.

Educators and media can learn more and access the free curriculum at BUILD.org/Fambiz-Adobe and BUILD.org/Fambiz.
