BUILD Design Challenge

What are BUILD Design Challenges?
Students use the Design Thinking process to solve a problem, with the ultimate goal to launch a product, service, or campaign. The Design Thinking process is centered within a Human-Centered Design Framework and allows youth to actively practice using an entrepreneurial mindset.

Each Design Challenge will solve a different problem. For example, in the COVID-19 Design Challenge (2020-21), students answered: How might we help people thrive mentally and physically in the midst of COVID-19?

BUILD’s new Design Challenge question for Fall 2021 is…

How might we build powerful, thriving communities where everyone enjoys safety, wellness, and economic freedom?
