Join BUILD for this 90 minute virtual event to hear firsthand how the pandemic has impacted students. 

Together, we will address the impact of COVID-19 on communities of color, the emotional well-being of our youth, and the tools/resources they need to survive and thrive during the Pandemic.

After the context is set, all participants will collaborate in small groups together to brainstorm 1,000 ideas to create change.

BUILD is a non-profit organization in service to under-resourced high school students across the nation. Through entrepreneurship-based, experiential learning, BUILD ignites the potential of youth from under-resourced communities and equips them for high school, college and career success. By helping students develop and run their own small business, BUILD supplements traditional school with critical skill-building for the future.

BUILD needs passionate and committed mentors for the 2020-2021 school year. Virtual mentoring is a weekly commitment of just 1 hour in the evening. All training is provided. Mentors will use their own professional skill sets to guide students through entrepreneurial learning creating a lifelong impact on students and setting them up for academic and career success.
