Joelle has spent her career working with youth. She graduated Quinnipiac University in 2013 with a degree in Psychology and spent her senior year interning as a Social Emotional Class Aid to a 5th grade class in Hartford CT. Joelle continued to work with youth as a Unit Supervisor in a residential facility for girls with trauma based behavioral issues, as a nanny and now at BUILD. Joelle began her career at BUILD working with our students and now works to help prepare our mentors with the tools they need to be extraordinary support systems for our students.
“I BUILD because it has become increasingly clear how necessary it is for a program like this to exist. The skills, confidence, guidance and connections our student’s receive makes a huge difference in their drive to finish high school and pursue a career they are passionate about.”
