Tiffany Reaves

Position: The Madison Square Garden Company

Tiffany Reaves is the current director of social impact and fan engagement for the New York Knicks. In this role, she sets the strategy for all community activation, youth basketball programming, and fan engagement platforms. She directs the philanthropic contributions and fundraising efforts and oversees a team that works directly with nonprofits, youth basketball organizations, corporate partners, and players to develop programs and initiatives that address local community challenges and meets business objectives.

Tiffany received her bachelor’s degree in health, recreation, and tourism management from George Mason University in 2009 and went on to attend Columbia University where she obtained her master’s degree in Sports Business. Tiffany worked at the Madison Square Garden Company for five years in marketing and corporate partnership management before leaving the company in 2014. For two years, she worked for licensing company Haddad Brands, where she managed global marketing for Levi’s and Converse Kids. Tiffany returned to The Garden in her current role in February 2016.

A native Virginian, Tiffany has lived in New York for ten years and enjoys traveling, writing, and staying active through biking, running, and volleyball. She volunteers for youth development organizations, including Girls on the Run, and serves on the associate board of youth entrepreneurship organization, BUILD NYC. She is also a board member of Manhattan Community Board 10 in central Harlem, where she currently resides with her husband, Duncan (married in 2018).

2. Record with both students and their presentation in view
3. Record horizontally for the best view of the students and their presentation
4. Follow Presentation Diagram to the Right

PRESENTATION TIPS.

- Make eye contact with the camera
- Notecards may be used as cue cards
•Pro Tip: Notecards should avoid having a full script
- Even when you are not speaking, don’t forget the camera is still recording!
•Be aware of your body language while you and your business partners are speaking
- Everyone has an opportunity to speak
- Professional dress is encouraged
- Practice makes perfect
•Practice how you will transition from each speaker
•Project your voice when you speak​
