Can I write a check to BUILD?
We gladly accept donations via check. You can mail your check made payable to BUILD to us at:

It can take up to 14 days for us to receive and deposit physical checks. We’re also equipped to accept “e-check” payments. Please email gifts@build.org for instructions.
What Are Your ACH, Wire, or Stock Transfer Instructions?
We don’t post these payment instructions online for security purposes. Please email us at gifts@build.org for information about making an electronic transfer or to donate stock or appreciated securities.
How can I give to BUILD via my Donor Advised Fund?
We recommend using our tax ID number when searching for us in your DAF’s directory: 94-3386695. We will most likely be listed as “BUSINESSES UNITED IN INVESTING, LENDING, AND DEVELOPMENT” with our address in Redwood City, where we are headquartered. You can use the designation field to let us know if you’d like your gift to support a specific regional office.
If you have a DAF at Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, you can use this secure link to use the DAF Direct tool provided by that consortium with our information pre-filled.
Where can I donate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other Cryptocurrencies?
We’re proud to accept donations of over 100 cryptocurrencies via our partnership with the Giving Block.

How can I get my employer to match my gift?
At BUILD, we make matching gifts easy! Visit BUILD.org/match to look up your employer’s matching gift options. If your employer participates, you will find direct links to their forms to request a match.
BUILD may be listed by our full legal name in your employer’s matching gift portal: Businesses United in Investing, Lending, and Development. You may need our tax ID number, which is 94-3386695.
If you require a duplicate copy of your gift receipt to submit for a match, please email gifts@build.org.
Can I donate my birthday to BUILD or list you on my wedding registry?
Yes, we would love that! You can set up your own BUILD fundraising page for any occasion on our #oneBUILD crowdfunding platform.
