Last week, all the regions of BUILD celebrated our wonderful BUILD teachers. We gathered quotes from BUILD students, mentors, and staff about how important our teachers are and how much they mean to us and our students!
Teachers were already the backbone of our organization and programs, but the changes that they’ve had to make in their methods, routines, and lessons this year have been unimaginable! Through it all, BUILD Teachers were able to keep our students motivated and engaged, whether it was guiding them through our Virtual Design Challenge, preparing their products for our new Pop-Up Student Marketplace, or participating in our big annual national event, BUILDFest National. Our program would be uninspiring and frankly, impossible without our teachers, and they deserve to be celebrated today and always!
BUILD in Boston

BUILD Bay Area
In the Bay Area we heard from BUILD teachers, BUILD staff, and BUILD students about how they relate to each other and the programs.

In Metro DC, we featured some teachers who participated in BUILDFest and the launch of BUILDing Generation E. We heard their perspectives and stories, and celebrated them!

At BUILD NYC, we highlighted the impact teachers have had on students, even through the struggles of the pandemic. We looked back on both our in-person and online events and can see clearly how just their presence, regardless of where our students are, can really change the course of a young entrepreneur’s life!
