BUILD’s 5th Annual Huddle Up 2024 event, held on March 5th at the SVB Experience Center in San Francisco, was a huge success thanks to our generous sponsor, SVB/First Citizen Bank! The event raised $25,000 in support of our mission to ignite the power of youth in under-resourced communities to build Career success, Entrepreneurial mindsets and Opportunity. Thanks to all our generous supporters.

BUILD students have learned entrepreneurial skills in Human-Centered Design, crafting business plans, and developing and marketing real products. Huddle Up “flipped the pitch”, positioning BUILD students as judges, where they heard product pitches developed by teams of adults from the Huddle Up guests. Guests included Venture Capitalists, Founders, student-athletes as well as current and former professional athletes. Even San Francisco 49er legend, Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott and past supporter of Huddle Up and entrepreneurship education, made an appearance and participated in an adult pitch team in front of the audience!
