High school graduation is an important milestone in the life of any teenager, but it is especially important for our students who have overcome significant obstacles to graduate – many of whom will be the first to go to college in their families. Like last year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many of our seniors will not have the opportunity to walk across the stage at graduation or plan big celebrations with their friends and families.
So, we are launching the 2nd Annual BUILD “Graduation in a Box” campaign and we hope you will join us. We want to do everything we can to make sure our students are celebrated and recognized for their hard work. We want our students to start their next chapters knowing the whole BUILD community is cheering them on.
With a donation of just $50, you can sponsor a “Graduation in a Box” that will be sealed and shipped to a graduating senior.
Each BUILD “Graduation in a Box” will include: a BUILD diploma and card from our staff, a Lovepop flower bouquet, Wicked Good Cookies’ graduation themed cookies, a BUILD Class of 2021 tumbler, assorted gift cards, and other festive goodies that let our seniors know how proud we are of their accomplishments.
At the end of the campaign, we will host a virtual “unboxing ceremony” where all of our seniors from 6 different Boston schools will join together to celebrate, open their boxes, and reflect on their BUILD journeys.
