BUILD Boston Introduces Trish Walker as New Board Chair

December 22, 2021

We are thrilled to announce that Trish Walker has stepped up into the role of Board Chair for BUILD Boston’s Advisory Board after 2 years as an active member of the Board. Trish Walker brings over 30 years of experience in the Business and Retail sector and holds a bold vision for the future of BUILD.

When asked about her main goals for BUILD and the region, she shared: “BUILD has the opportunity to reshape the future of our country by giving the next generation of entrepreneurs the education, opportunities and skills to pursue their passions and change the world.  BUILD is the future of education and I am thrilled to be the Chair of the BUILD Boston board.”

BUILD Boston’s Executive Director, Betsy Neptune, is also thrilled to work alongside Trish to expand the region’s impact. Betsy remarked, “We’re honored to have Trish’s leadership, particularly now as BUILD Boston seeks to expand its impact throughout the region. Trish brings both the passion and strategic thinking we need to lead the organization into this next phase. Her work builds on the strong foundation laid by her predecessor, Christina Luconi, who shepherded the BUILD Boston board through the many challenges that 2020 brought us.” Please join us in sharing our gratitude and congratulations to Trish!

We also want to share our appreciation for Christina Luconi, Chief People Officer of Rapid7, who is stepping down as chair but will remain a vital member of BUILD Boston’s Advisory Board. We have so appreciated Christina’s passion and dedication to BUILD, and her steadfastness to step into the Chair role during a very pivotal time for BUILD and in our nation’s history. We thank Christina for her leadership.
