Anupama Pasumarthy works as a Software Engineer at IBM where she helps IBM.com visitors discover products across global markets through Search and Navigation capabilities. She has experience mentoring young adults, boot camp program design and curriculum building through working with several non-profit organizations, including BUILD where she served as a student mentor in 2017-18. In recognition of her community service efforts, she was honored with The President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2017. She received her Master’s in Computer Science from UMass Amherst in 2016, prior to which she earned her Bachelor’s in CS from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India. In her free time, Anu enjoys cooking, running, and yoga.
