Elizabeth, who is a first-generation Nigerian American, was born & raised in Westchester, NY. She attended college in upstate New York at SUNY Albany where she studied Communication & Rhetoric. Following an internship at Vogue Magazine, she worked in IT before becoming a founding team member of the luxury fashion brand, Moda Operandi. Since then, she’s transitioned from fashion to finance to better understand the process that goes into vetting and investing in a company. Now in Fintech, she is focusing her attention on People & Culture at the data delivery startup, Crux Informatics, based in NYC. In her spare time, Elizabeth is building a women’s lifestyle brand, The Anti Heel, which merges fashion with foot wellness. She is an avid runner/yogi/cook and has a deep love for interior design. Currently residing in Brooklyn, she’s a volunteer for Hearts & Bones animal rescue and loves exploring all NYC has to offer.
