Jamaal Glenn is a Vice President at Alumni Ventures Group, a global venture capital firm. He is also an adjunct professor at New York University and the founder of Glenn Media Group, a boutique strategy and digital media consulting firm with clients that include Google, Harvard University, and the City of New York.
Previously, he was Vice President of Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Development at First Look Media, a company started by eBay founder and philanthropist Pierre Omidyar which produces world-class investigative news and journalism, documentary and scripted films/television, digital video, and podcasts. Jamaal led U.S. business development for a venture-backed, Israeli tech startup that was acquired in 2016. He also founded and sold Politiconomist.com and Capitolista.com, and worked at Google and J.P. Morgan.
Jamaal received an MBA from Stanford, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a bachelors degrees in finance and journalism from the University of Missouri.
