Nicole Thomas is currently the Director of Strategic Partnership with BUILD Metro DC and has been with BUILD since 2016. In her role, Nicole spearheads all BUILD Metro DC fundraising-related community outreach activities, recruits volunteers and engages new networks and individual donor prospects. Nicole also oversees BUILD Metro DC’s Associate Board. Prior to her work with BUILD, Nicole was with College Summit for four years. College Summit is a college access non-profit where she executed over 100 successful College Summit workshops on 35 college campuses that served 5,000 students and 1,500 volunteers. Before that, Nicole worked for Monumental Sports and Entertainment for more than 10 years where she was the Director of Community Relations for the Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Mystics (WNBA) professional teams. In that role, she managed the community outreach activities including the scheduling, development, and execution of over 400 appearances per year for players, coaches, and front office staff. Nicole graduated from the University of Arizona.
