Develop your entrepreneurial skillset and mindset this summer at Suffolk University. Join us at our campus in downtown Boston for an invaluable summer experience where you’ll explore the world of entrepreneurship—and discover what college is all about. Developed for rising high school seniors, this free program will teach you how entrepreneurs launch new ventures and create value for existing organizations of all sizes. This immersive in-person, 3-week program provides hands-on experience in class, through team projects, and across visits with Boston’s top entrepreneurial organizations. You’ll meet real-world business-execs and successful entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and perspectives with you. And this experience will culminate in an exciting event where you’ll present your own new concept. Lunch will be provided daily, and students will receive a local subway/bus pass to cover your commute to and from campus and field trips.

Free Coding Summer Program

Intro to G{Code} is a free virtual program designed to give black, brown, and/or indigenous young women or non-binary people of color between the ages of 18 to 25 first exposure to coding to uncover interest and aptitude in tech in a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment. Over the span of ~12 weeks, cohorts will learn to build websites, gain career insights from tech professionals, obtain mentors, develop personally and professionally, and determine if a journey in the tech industry is a good fit. Graduates of the program are supported and encouraged to participate in further learning through apprenticeships, internships, bootcamps, and more. Applicants must have a high school diploma or completed a GED.

BLAISE Summer Internship 2023

Do you want to spend your summer learning about making a difference in the world through sustainability and impact investing AND get paid? The internship program will provide an introduction to the variety of career opportunities available in museums and special collection libraries. Each intern will be assigned to a department relevant to their interest and work with departmental staff on timely topics in that area. Critical Juncture Filmmaking Proram – 2023

QWOCMAP has launched our new program to support LBTQIA+ filmmakers of color in the early stages of their career! In 2023, Critical Juncture will resource and support LBTQIA+ Black/ African descent filmmakers living, working, learning, or creating in San Francisco. It aims to shift narratives of San Francisco’s diverse Black communities. The year-long program includes:

  • Cash grants ranging from $1,000-$5,000
  • Production packages (camera, microphone, etc)
  • Post production packages (laptops, software, etc)
  • Mentorship
  • Advanced training workshops

We are hiring multiple Student Life Coordinators for several of the EF Gap Year programs occurring in Spring and Summer 2023. While this role is based out of our Cambridge, Massachusetts (Boston) headquarters, this is your chance to live and work throughout Europe or Central America.

The overarching goal of the Student Life Coordinator is to foster positive group dynamics, while ensuring each individual student feels a sense of belonging within the group and that students are adapting to the program successfully.

Become a Counselor/Teaching Assistant – Summer 2023

This summer, be part of a transformative experience for students from low-income and historically marginalized communities with exceptional potential in math. Be a role model, guide, and friend to your students as they begin their path to advanced mathematics. Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM), a project of the Art of Problem Solving Initiative, Inc., is seeking undergraduate students or recent graduates to be counselors and teaching assistants for a summer program that gives everyone a chance to excel in mathematics.

Media and Digital Communications Internship – Summer 2023

The Media & Digital Communications Intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the Pregnancy Justice Media & Communications team. Work will include creating engaging social media content, including graphics and mobile videos, and monitoring their effectiveness, supporting media relations; creating engaging email marketing content; updating the website; conducting research related to our advocacy; and assisting with other communications duties as directed. Ogilvy Health Internship – Summer 2023

This is a program for rising senior college students who are passionate about applying their interest in healthcare communications as well as their coursework and learnings.

This program will be a hybrid model, some time will be spent in either our Parsippany, New Jersey office or our New York City office, and some time will be spent working remotely.  It is a paid 10-week program and runs from Monday, June 5, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023.

In order to be considered, students must be rising seniors with a planned graduation date during 2024.  Students must be available to work these 10 weeks, Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00am – 5:00pm.

We anticipate opportunities for summer interns in the following areas:

Account Management/Client Services, Marketing/Advertising, Public Relations, Creative – Art, Copy, Project Management, Strategic Planning/Research, Marketing Analytics, and Finance.

CBS Sports Creative Services Design Internship – Summer 2023

The CBS Sports Creative Services group operates as an in-house advertising agency primarily but not limited to servicing Marketing, Sales, Programming, Public Relations, Operations and CBS Sports Interactive. This group designs and executes print, digital and environmental graphics and materials for CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network. Creative execution is from concept to final product with a focus on maintaining the CBS brand and all that it embodies and represents.

Responsibilities include:

-Designing and executing Digital Advertising for paid and unpaid, off-air, social, email and OTT placements

– Designing Print ads and campaigns for placement in Print media and out of home

– Designing Print pieces for production that includes manuals and on-site signage at remote events

-Assisting with the Design and layout of PowerPoint Presentations for Sales, marketing, Operations, production, Programming, Human Resources and the Executive Team

The program starts in June and runs for 10 weeks. Interns must be available to work full time (5 days) per week in-person in NYC.

We are offering a year-long paid commercial internship for current undergraduate or graduate students. The internship is an excellent opportunity for ambitious students to learn about sales, account management and marketing within a startup situated within the financial technology industry.

The duration of the internship is 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of extending. The successful candidate will work closely with the New York commercial, marketing, product, and data teams in a hybrid capacity for approximately 25 – 30 hours per week.

Summer Research Programs – Harvard School of Public Health

Harvard T.H. Summer Program in Epidemiology

Summer Program in Biological Sciences and Public Health

This intensive 8 week, in-person laboratory-based biological research program is for undergraduates during the summer following their sophomore or junior years. Up to 6 internships are awarded by a competitive process. The internship culminates with a Poster Session during the final week where the interns present data in regards to the project they have been working on during the summer. Collective Rising Internship – Collective Power for Reproductive Justice

Collective Power trains and places undergraduate students in full time, paid 10-week summer internships at social justice organizations that are at the forefront of movements advocating for human rights, economic justice, racial equality, queer rights, immigrants’ rights, among others. Interns get hands on experience with organizing, advocacy, direct service, education, public policy and more.

Host organizations are located in cities including New York City, Somerville, MA, and Oakland, CA with remote options available. Interns are required to attend a 3-day training in Amherst, MA with travel and lodging costs covered by Collective Power. Student interns also recieve a $4500 stipend.

Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship – The Ripple Center

The Ripple Fellowship is a 9-month fully-funded immersive educational program for young adults ages 18-24 interested in social impact entrepreneurship. Fellows will have two domestic travel experiences, engage in a weekly online curriculum facilitated by a variety of experts and changemakers, be paired with a mentor, construct a business plan that supports people and planet, and participate in a formal incentivized business pitch to The Ripple Center community. All fellows will receive a $1000 stipend to assist them with any financial burdens they may encounter while investing time into their business plans, which can be used however a Fellow chooses.

2. Record with both students and their presentation in view
3. Record horizontally for the best view of the students and their presentation

PRESENTATION TIPS.

- Make eye contact with the camera
- Notecards may be used as cue cards
•Pro Tip: Notecards should avoid having a full script
- Even when you are not speaking, don’t forget the camera is still recording!
•Be aware of your body language while you and your business partners are speaking
- Everyone has an opportunity to speak
